Dronken Leeuw Jersey - Women's Cut
£45.00
The Dronken Leeuw (Drunk Lion) Jersey, our nod to the hard men (and women) of cycling. Why didn't we release this for the classics season we hear you ask? Well, with the start of the this years Tour de France kicking off in Brussels in honour of the 50th anniversary of the first Tour de France win of the great Eddy Merckx, we thought we would launch it in his honour. He's worn the Yellow Jersey 111 times over his career and I'm sure most will agree he's the greatest cyclist of all time.
This grey camo jersey has our version of the Vlaamse Leeuw (Flemish Lion) holding a classic Belgian tulip glass large on the back and smaller on the front. We couldn't celebrate the greatest cyclist ever without a nod to the fact that the greatest beer in the world is also Belgian! We also have a matching cap as usual! The Yellow sleeve is also a nod to this years 106th Tour being the 100th year in the yellow colours of the L’Auto newspaper, the main sponsor of the race back in 1919.
We're still using the same great Italian made fabrics as our Fade Jerseys. The main panels and sleeves are made from a super fast moisture wicking material keeping you dry while the side panels/under arms are a more breathable fabric (that is made with carbon fibre) without being as see through as our mesh panels featured on other jerseys.
Featuring a full length YKK zipper, flat lock stitching, Italian made fabrics and compression bands on the sleeves with silicon grippers. Three large cargo pockets and a hidden waterproof zip pocket for your phone this jersey has you covered. Comes with a matching sticker too! (While stocks last).
Available in sizes Small to X-Large.
